Not much seemed to be unveiled regarding the storyline of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon so as to keep the rush and excitement of Transformers fans. Even if there isn't any official release as yet, the storyline can be viewed on the two trailers.
It was 1969, July 20 when mankind first got chance to touch the moon. During those days, the entire country was celebrating regarding the spaceship's successful trip and was excited to look at a view of the moon's surface area from the indicators given by Apollo 11, but there existed far more to view than that. Over the exploration, astronauts noticed a wrecked spacecraft. It was not clear to whom the spaceship belongs, however the trailer pointed out a new character, Sentinel Prime.

There seems to be a hint that the Autobots will likely finally walk out of the mankind when Optimus Prime said, "From here, the battle will be your own."
Even so not clear exactly what is in the Cybertorian spaceship, the Autobots sure are looking for it mainly because there needs to be something into it which may stop the war. As explained by one audience of the second trailer, the Autobots could be going to The Ark (the Cybertorian spaceship) because it could possibly be the secret for the end of the war, but in order to get there and complete the objective, they need to leave the humans.
You might be probably charged now to see the third sequel of Transformers movie, then again, if you can't watch it on its premier night, you can enjoy Transformers 3 online rather.
